Our story
Both of us are from Lagos — Patrick is Igbo, Vanessa is Edo. We each crossed the Atlantic in 2023, into the same Canadian cold, chasing the same thing: a place to build ideas that last.
We met here, in Toronto. Inside TiG grew in the space between two homes — the speed and ambition of Lagos, the craft and calm of a fresh start. One team, two cultures, one garden.
We kept watching great ideas fall apart in the gap between the people who dream them up and the people who build them. We’re both of those people — so nothing falls through that gap here.
Vanessa & Patrick
Vanessa has been in love with this work for as long as she can remember — brand, story, marketing, the thrill of making people care. Patrick has spent 13 years as a software engineer, but he’s the kind who obsesses over how a thing looks and feels, not just whether it runs.
We started TiG because we kept watching the same thing happen: great ideas falling apart in the space between the people who dream them up and the people who build them. We’re both of those people. So nothing falls through that gap here.
